Introduction to friends
Most people assume that their closest friends and social circle are all of the same genders. People frequently express the opinion that women and men cannot just be friends without feeling romantically drawn to one another. I’ve previously discussed this subject, but the argument has come up again. This is because a woman brought up the topic of “female best friends” in conversation. The other post is linked below as well.
Men and women can be great platonic friends
You can have platonic friendships with both men and women. In fact, there are many reasons why it’s a good idea to have platonic friends of the opposite sex.
- Having platonic friendships with people of the same gender will help you feel more comfortable around them and build trust in your relationship.
- If you’re looking for someone who shares similar interests or hobbies. Then this can be a great way to make new friends quickly!
Male-female platonic relationships can go awry because of chemistry
In the past, scientists believed that men and women could never be platonic friends because of their differing brains. They believed that men would always have an interest in sex while women would only want to be friends with a man who was more like them. However, science has proven this theory wrong. Men and women both have brains, so they can have platonic relationships just as easily as they can have romantic ones. However, there are some differences between male and female brains that may affect how you interact with each other when it comes to friendship:
- Women tend to bond faster than men do; if you’re looking for someone who’ll stick around for long periods of time or will stay loyal through thick and thin (and especially thick), then maybe you need someone else! If this sounds like something you’d like in your life? Great news—there is such a thing as “the friend zone.” It exists because we all need support from others sometimes! We just don’t always know what those people are until we meet them face-to-face. Or hear about them from someone else’s mouth.”
The friend zone is a reality of life and you must get used to it
The friend zone is a reality of life and you must get used to it. Women are attracted to men who can make them laugh, have a good sense of humor and make them feel special. This is what makes the friend zone so hard for women to handle. Because they want more than just friendship but don’t know how or where they stand in their relationship with the guy they like.
To avoid this situation you need to act like your normal self around him. Nothing special but not too much effort either which will show him that you’re comfortable talking with him without making any effort whatsoever on your part (like trying too hard). This way he’ll realize that even though he may not be interested in getting into a committed relationship with any one person at this time. It doesn’t mean there isn’t someone out there who wants him back!
Men and women may not be able to be totally platonic friends, but they can always try.
What makes a friendship platonic?
The most important thing to keep in mind is that friendships are based on mutual respect and shared interests. This means that both parties need to be able to trust each other. If they can’t, no amount of being friends will make up for it.
However, this doesn’t mean that men and women can never be platonic friends at all! Men and women may not be able to be totally platonic friends because of their different backgrounds/experiences/etc., but they can always try. When we talk about what makes someone a “good friend” or just an overall good person (or anything else), there’s no correct answer. It’s all relative depending on who you are as an individual. So while there may not be any clear-cut rules when it comes down to being a platonic male/female partner in life together with mutual respect between them. Don’t let these differences stop you from having fun together!
In the end: A platonic relationship is when two people are not romantically involved with each other. Real-life platonic friends are a great way to build trust and create a supportive environment for the people involved.
