Remember growing up and having our parents tell us that dating is supposed to be fun? Well, I am just now experiencing that and it’s the best feeling ever. If you are new here, welcome back to Joi’s Journey of perception! Today I wanted to talk about dating! According to the title you can tell that things are gonna get a little bit juicy.
Before making it to the dating in a relationship stage. There are stages you go through before getting in a relationship. Like the “talking stage”.
The talking stage is the period when two people who have expressed a mutual romantic interest in each other get to know each other on a level deeper than friendship, to help them decide the next steps.
The Stages
When you first start dating and when you get into a committed relationship, you go through certain stages. The following are some of the stages that you will go through while in a relationship. And a lot of people tend to forget that you have to keep recording someone when you are in a relationship. I do not wanna let the relationship die. So without further ado, let’s get started.
Lust and Infatuation
This stage basically involves the first impression. The stage is all about sticking your toe in the water. You both don’t truly know each other but you’re just fascinated by each other sucks. Your infatuated with them. You enjoy All the highest there could possibly be. You’re not necessarily paying attention to the red flags because you’re just enjoying being with them. So this is what people think of has the fun part of a relationship. Having this kind of connection tends to make people want to be in a relationship. The highs in the relationship.
Comfort
This is the stage where you’re partly comfortable with your partner. You’re slowly building a solid foundation with them. You’re being tested on your trust in your loyalty. As well as the honesty. This stage gets a little testy for those who are not used to our relationship. But if you make it through this part, you’re comfortable.
Do I really want this?
Lately several men on TikTok happened talking about how they questioned the relationship a lot of the times when they are in the middle of one. This part of relationship becomes testy as well. He start the question if you wanted to go back to the dating game and whether this relationship was worth it? In the end this is something to do with yourself and you have to question yourself of whether this was just about the chase for you or you seriously want a commitment. Most people do not pass this stage. And they go right back to the beginning.
Exposing
Now this stage is known for ending any relationship. Particularly those without a solid foundation. When you are honest, every little habit you have, every little thing from your past, anything of that nature comes into the open. Whatever secrets he thought you could hide comes to the light. The exposure of so much exposes you to each other, and it tests whether you accept each other for who you are, or whether you are just infatuated with them.
Stability
This is the stage where you feel like you can breathe. You guys have been honest with each other you know so much about each other to where you know boundaries and triggers. This is the stage where you can semi-relax. I say semi-because you should always continue to date your partner and learn more about them as we are all continuously changing. This is when you should move on to the part where you discuss your future. Whether you want to get married and have kids, or whether you just wanna travel the world with each other. This is what we call a healthy stable relationship.

My Thoughts
Amazing my there are no good ones left. But there are. And dating Macy like the worst thing on this planet and that it only got worse with our generation but that is 100% wrong. They’re always gonna be red flags in any generation of dating. But once you find that right person, you feel like the journey was worth it. I wanna know what some of your relationship fell were.
