I really wish retail therapy was covered by my health insurance.
Welcome back to another fashion post! Happy Memorial Day!
I hope everyones health is good and you are keeping yourselves entertained.I thought I’d do another post about fashion because I just can’t get enough. Do any of you like to play with looks? I do! I don’t have a particular style, I just dress based off my mood and music tends to play a role as well. Lately I’ve been getting inspiration from different decades. Fashion does tend to go through cycles. So below, you will find different times, you can get inspiration from.

Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you express by the way you dress and the way you live.”- Gianni Versace

I have always been one to either where something that makes people question until it becomes a trend or I mix all trends and make them my own. Fashion and dress yourself up is so fun and shouldn’t make you feel any pressure. Dress for yourself.
1970s
The reason I love 70s fashion is because the flow of the tops and bottoms as well. Although I don’t look right in flare bottoms because I am short I love the fashion. I also love the style from this decade because it showed a little bit a curve but left something to the imagination. I am also a huge fan of crop tops.
Excuse me while I kiss the sky. -Jimi Hendrix
1980’s
The 80s was a time to live. Not only were the movies in the music amazing but so is the fashion. Things are really boxey during that time. Like the Blazers in the Jean jacket and there was also a big hair. If you wanna know what the status was like look into the early episode of Saved by the Bell.
1990’s
Clothes aren’t going to change the world, women who wear them are.-Anne Klein
Welcome to the year I was born. I love all things 90’s and still tend to dress like it. This was a time of baggy bottoms and crop tops. Denim was very much in and the little black dress. What a time to be alive.
2000’s
This time takes me back to my childhood. Two piece Juicy couture fits, sweater tops, and body jewelry. I kind of miss the babydoll pink days.
Vintage
Now I rarely dress vintage. I like the aesthetic and the houses during that time. I also like the hair but It’s not my go to although it’s fun and cute.
Why fit in when you were born to stand out.- Anna Wintour
I hope you play with your wardrobe a little bit and have fun! Enjoy your holiday! Thank you for checking out this post! Be sure to check out about my other post, like, subscribe, and share my loves! Until I post again!
