Hey Loves and welcome back to Joi’s Journey of Perception
Have you ever taken time to journal and get to know yourself? I love the deeper questions that require me to take a moment and understand myself a little bit. Today, I wanted to answer a few questions I found and I encourage you to ask yourself as well. You may be surprised!
What gets you excited about life?
I actually get excited about the surprises of life and how eventually things line up. If you ask me 5 years ago, where I saw myself in 5 years, I couldn’t imagine myself being in the position that I am in now. But, there I was worried about the future. So, I guess you can say the I am now excited about the unexpected.
Is it possible to lie without saying a word?
Absolutely! Keeping the truth hidden is another form of lying. I did a post on it.
“The starting point of discovering who you are, your gifts, your talents, your dreams, is being comfortable with yourself. Spend time alone. Write in a journal.”
— Robin Sharma
Am I an introvert or an extrovert? Am I energized being around others or being by myself?
I am an ambivert. During my childhood, I had to learn how to play by myself when I couldn’t be with my friends. Considering My siblings were much older than me so I felt like an only child. I like a little balance of being around people. I need time to recharge and protect my energy,

What lies do you continuously tell to those around you?
I tell them that I’m okay. I mean, I am, but in a sense, I am still healing. Therefore, there are times where I get depressed.
Do you believe that everything happens in your life for a reason?
Yes. That’s a very good question. But there are times where situations hurt so much and I would wonder what the reason was for. I feel this way still.
What do you want people to say about you at your funeral?
When the time does come, I want people to say that I was a good person and that I made some sort of positive impact on this earth.
Do me a favor, and answer one of these questions below. Remember, the key to growth is self-awareness. Be sure to share this post with someone you love. Comment, share, like, and subscribe.
