3 Fall drinks to at home
Fall is a great time to enjoy the comforts of home, and what better way to do that than with a hot drink? Whether you’re looking for something festive or just need an excuse to turn on your oven, here are three recipes you can make at home. Here are 3 Fall drinks to at home.

Pumpkin Spice Latte
- Pumpkin Spice Latte:
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (or canned pumpkin)
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice blend (or ground cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat milk until just simmering. Remove from heat and add in pumpkin puree, spices, sugar or honey if using it and stir until combined well with no lumps for about 5 minutes until steaming hot but not boiling anymore!

Hot Apple Cider
Apple cider is a classic fall beverage. It’s warm, sweet and perfectly complements the season. The trick to making it at home is to get the right balance of heat and sweetness: if you simmer your apple cider too long or add too much sugar, it can end up tasting like apple juice instead of a spicy cider drink. To avoid this problem, follow these steps:
- Heat up some water on the stovetop until it’s steaming hot but not boiling yet (you’ll know it when you see bubbles).
- Add in one cinnamon stick per cup of cider that you want to make and let sit for 15 minutes while the mixture boils down slightly so there won’t be too much liquid left after cooking time has passed; then add two cloves per cup as well before simmering over medium-high heat until reduced by half or more (about 20 minutes). Once done simmering off most of its volume–and adding extra spices if desired–let cool completely before serving chilled with ice cubes added just before serving time so they don’t melt all over everything else!

Apple Pie Sangria
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of red wine (you can use any kind of red you like)
- 2 apples, sliced into rings
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, plus more for sprinkling on top of the sangria if desired
Directions:
- Pour the wine into a pitcher and add the apples. Let sit at least 30 minutes to an hour before serving. 2. Just before serving, remove apples from pitcher with a slotted spoon or mesh strainer, reserving them in a bowl until ready to serve with your sangria.* 3. Add ice cubes to glasses and fill up with apple pie sangria mixture from step 1 above (about 1 cup per glass). Garnish each glass with an apple slice if desired!
