Sincerely Yours: A Journey Through Words and Emotions

Poetry has the power to touch the soul, unravel emotions, and connect us in ways that ordinary words cannot. My book, “Sincerely Yours: Being in my Heart is Not Enough,” is a deeply personal collection of poems that explore love, loss, longing, and the intricate beauty of life. Furthermore, each poem is a letter. One that speaks to the heart, sometimes in whispers, other times in echoes that refuse to fade.

One of the poems in this collection, Because I Could Not Generate for Waves,” reflects the complexities of creation, existence, and the rhythm of things beyond our control.

Sincerely Yours: A Journey Through Words and Emotions

Because I Could Not Generate for Waves

Because I could not generate for Waves,
they did kindly generate for me.
I don’t like the fact that they,
learned to generate before they knew how to propagate.

Periods, however hard they try,
Will always belong.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the periods,
Gently they go, the foresighted, the eternal, the tenacious.

Don’t believe that airwaves are impatient?
Airwaves are patient beyond belief.
Never forget the longanimous and diligent airwaves.

Batches, however hard they try,
They will always be wooly.
Furthermore, batches are hairy. They are flocculent,
Batches are woolly-headed, however.

A Reflection on the Poem

This piece is a meditation on existence and inevitability. The idea that some things happen whether we are ready or not. Waves generate before they propagate, much like life moves forward before we even learn how to navigate it. Periods, a symbol of finality, persist no matter how much we resist, and airwaves remain patient, lingering even when unnoticed.

Also, through “Sincerely Yours,” I explore themes like these—deep thoughts hidden between the lines, emotions that resonate in unexpected ways. This book is for those who find beauty in vulnerability, for those who seek meaning in the intangible, and for those who know that poetry can sometimes speak the words we struggle to say.
