Hey loves and welcome back to Joi‘s Journey of Perception! Whenever you like a piece of clothing, do you always feel that you have to try it on? Well, that was me this weekend trying to find the perfect birthday dress! Ultimately, I came to a conclusion, but I would like to take you along on the journey. At the end of my trip, I did find a dress that caught my eye. I tried on quite a few maybes and no-nos during my trip. If you follow me on any of my social media accounts, you would see that it was a different color from the typical black I wear. In order to step out of my comfort zone, I chose something that would stand out. Without further ado, let’s get started!

The First No

In addition to looking cute, I like the way this dress gives me the hourglass figure. Despite this, I was not fond of the black color because I would rather not wear that color. It did come in like its skittles tropical bag color but I don’t really like how cheap the material look so this one was a no for me.

This dress is an asymmetrical and high-low dress. I am not fond of the style. However, the back of the dress caught my eye. The back of the dress was cut in a low way, and it was made of soft velvet material. This was my second choice of what I would’ve chosen. I did however do not like the cut in the front. So I ended up turning the stress down it was a nice runner-up though

Think Pink

When I was younger I used to be in love with the color pink. And then I ventured away from that on two other colors. So this dress gives me childish vibes and reminds me of the tutus I used to have to wear. It’s a cute dress and it’s very formfitting. But I didn’t think it was right for me.

Black Magic

Birthday or no birthday, I don’t like this outfit just because Topton fit me well. It was a small and it was a small stay at. It’s also looks like an every day outfit for me. It looks like a simple thing I would wear to work with a cardigan. So I have to say no to this outfit. I look like an award a celebrity will get it.
The material however is amazing and I do give props to the designer for this.

Last no

As you can te a video this dress was at the top of my list. I love the one sleeve and how it shows a little bit of the shoulder. I also I like how it rushes towards the top. Giving me a nice shape. I have been in a sheer material phase and this will go right along with it. It was like a nude color which is something different and something cute. But I feel like my pretty dress toys matched my mood for how I want this year to go better.
