Hey loves welcome back to Joi’s Journey of Perception.
“We are like Tea, we don’t know our own Strength until we’re in Hot Water”
\
In my case, it is helpful to have some time where nothing is happening. A bit of rest helps me recharge. I find there are things to calm my nerves on days when everything is so busy. It is the occasional cup of tea. But first, if you are new here, My name is Joi, and think of me as the big sister you never had.

“Tea, though ridiculed by those who are naturally coarse in their nervous sensibilities will always be the favorite beverage of the intellectual.”
– Thomas de Quincey
African Autumn Tea
I love Hibiscus tea and that is one of the main ingredients in this tea. The flavors are not overbearing and it doesn’t feel like you’re drinking sugar.
Cinnamon Vanilla Herbal Tea
I use to work at a Spa, so it’s a given that we served tea for the clients. One of my favorite flavors during this time of the year was cinnamon vanilla. I believe this is a good representation of this season.
“If you are cold, tea will warm you;
if you are too heated, it will cool you;
If you are depressed, it will cheer you;
If you are excited, it will calm you.”
– William Ewart Gladstone
Chamomile
Chamomile tea might be my favorite beverage of all time. Apart from being delicious, it offers quite a few health benefits. Do not overlook it.
What I like to put in my tea
You’d be surprised, but I do not like too much in my tea. I savor the flavor. The only thing I add is a bit of honey, which has health benefits as well.

“Rainy days should be spent at home with a cup of tea and a good book.”
– Bill Watterson
Harvest Moon Herbal Tea
This tea has one of my favorite flavors that I stumbled upon when I was a child: cardamom.

I could talk about tea all day, but I will not keep you any longer. In fact, I’ll make this a series and bring you more flavors in the future. Let me know what your favorite tea flavor is in the comments below.
