Reviewing My Year

A Look Back

“The older I get, the more I realize that one choice can change the entire path you are on. Life has a way of working itself out, even though you do not see it at the moment. ”- Joi White

Favorite Place I visited this year: I go every year, but I always get excited to go horseback riding.

Hey loves,

I wanted to do some reflecting, because things have been hectic for everyone this year. Personally, I think this has been the year of lessons. I have a completely new perspective on things and I have this year to thank!

Biggest lesson this year

I had to learn the hard way, that I lacked boundaries. It took my therapist pointing it out. Once I came to this realization, I started to create some in order to stop being taken advantage of.

One Word to describe the year

If I had to choose one word to describe this year it would be, “Allow”. I have the habit of trying to control things in fear of the outcome. This is something I need to work on. I need to allow things to happen the way they are meant to happen.

An Achievement I’m proud of this year

As long as I I have been writing, I really proud of my blog as a whole. I really work hard on the look and the content. So, I would like to take a step back and appreciate how much growth that it has had this year.

What am I most thankful for this year?

I would have to say my health. Many people lost or are fighting for their lives this year. So, I do not take my health for granted. I am grateful for my immune system and the ability to fight off germs this year.

“Change may not always bring growth, but there is no growth without change.”

Most News Worthy Event

This year, black people finally got fed up with losing black people and decided to protest during a pandemic. It’s really sad that in 2020 we had to do this. But many people went out to protest the mistreatment of black people. This caused a shift in perspective for certain groups, while others had a way to express their emotions.

Best Compliment

I got told that I have the biggest heart. The appreciation is high when I get a compliment on something besides my looks.

This is just a look back on this year. Trust me, There is a part two coming!
