Ranking Rihanna Albums (you won’t guess Number 1)

It’s tougher to be vulnerable than to actually be tough.

What’s up guys! Welcome Back!

Following up on my last White Noise Wednesday a little. Joi’s Journey of Perception has started doing a white Noise post ranking my favorite singes albums based on what my favorite is. Today’s artist is, Ms. Rihanna. Although I am patiently waiting for her next album to drop, I still listen to her old albums on a daily. Like I said, I will be doing this next couple of weeks for different artists. 

Let’s get started! As I did on the last post, I’ll start with my least favorite album and work my way up! I’ll also name my favorite song on each album! 

So start with my least favorite:

Now, for those of you who don’t know, I am apart of Rih Navy! So, this was really hard for me to even say she has a terrible album, but I have always been a realist. I would have to say that Unapologetic, is my least favorite album. I like a few of the songs on here, but it is not a memorable album for me.

Favorite song: Loveeeeeee Song

Honorable Mention: Pour it up

This next album was one of her first albums. Again, relatable but again…Would I play it all the way through at this point in my life with no skips? Probably not. 

Favorite song: Unfaithful

Honorable mention: Dem Haters and We Ride

Her we go with the hard part. These next album I listen to literally everyday.

This album came after Rih dealt with a traumatic event. An event, that if anyone went through it, would react the same way. She healed and transformed. This album is like reminding yourself that life goes on.

Favorite song: Rehab

Honorable mention: Umbrella

I don’t do things for the response or the controversy. I just live my life.

So this album was relatable but again…Would I play it all the way through at this point in my life with no skips? Probably not. 

Favorite song: Pon De Replay

Honorable mention: There’s a Thug in my life and You don’t love me

Favorite song: We Found Love

Honorable mention: Farewell

I really relate to “We Found Love”. It’s really hard falling for someone when it’s bound to not work out. You desperately want to be with someone but you know you’re both no good for each other.

So this album was so relatable it scary. When it came to you, I played it and swore off men. but again…If I had to choose where to place it, it’s not my favorite.

Favorite song: Same Ol’ Mistakes

Honorable mention: Needed Me

The next album is my second favorite. Get into it friends.

Nobody can understand what you’re feeling unless they burn the way you burned

This album constantly reminds me that I’m a baddie and don’t need anyone. When I’m mad I play this album and sing my heart out. There are classics on this album.

Favorite song: Mad House

Honorable mention: Hard, Wait your Turn, and Russian roulette

So hard to choose.

So, my absolute favorite album…drumroll please!

So many reasons why I love this album. I play it every day. She put her heart and soul in this album. Nothing but good vibes.

Favorite song: Man Down (for personal reasons)

I love every song on this album.
