Periods 101

Welcome back to Joi’s Journey of Perception

Hey loves and welcome back to Joi’s Journey!

This topic today has me incredibly pumped! I’m referring to all things perio-related. Many of you out there become upset when I use that word. I make a commitment that following these suggestions will help you look amazing and feel fantastic at the most uncomfortable time of the month. I’m going to talk about several things, including lovely clothing that keeps you company and meals that can ease discomfort. Grab your notebooks and let’s get started, I wanted to start.

Meals and Snacks

While having weird cravings is a headache. Knowing that it’s preparing us for if we decide to have kids. There are certain foods that you should stay away from while on your period. This is because it can make cramps worse and sometimes prolong your period. So I’ll list a few foods that are good for you on your period.

The Fashion

During this annoying time of the month, you want to be as comfortable as possible. I know for me it is more about comfort over looks. What if I tell you that you can do both? Below I’ve put a board of outfits that you can use for inspitrtation. Enjoy!!!

Things to do

In addition to these few suggestions, there are other things you can do to help you. I take a test on Google for no reason about periods. Besides looking things up on Google, let me give you a few other things to do during this time of the month to help you be productive.

Binge Watch a show or movie

Read a book
