Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.
Hey What’s up everyone!
So I tend to abandon this part of my page a lot and I don’t do it on purpose. I just happen to be brainstorming what to blog. So many ideas, just don’t know where to start. I guess we can begin with the question of “How I found my style”
Now I am usually one who likes to switch it up, because my mood tends to be different each day. There are days where I just want to lounge around and wear nothing but a sports bra and sweats, then there are days where I want to get dressed up with a beat face. (Insert pictures of me wearing both.
So, as a child, my mom always had me dressed up in cute frilly dresses and stylish clothes. I was like a baby doll. My mom was a fashionista herself. SO… it was only right I became one as well.
“Fashion changes, but style endures.”
So I think its extremely important to have signature pieces in your closet. Especially pieces you can wear year round.Their signature pieces that everybody knows that they should have in the closet. From a simple black dress to a white button down these are must-have items that you can always switch up and make a new outfit with. So I have not only other pieces but I keep the signature pieces in my closet. I will do another blog post about that.
A woman is never sexier than when she is comfortable in her clothes.
Now I know that there are four a few rules about fashion however I am a huge believer that was her made to be broken to an extent. Like the whole white after Labor Day rule I do tend to follow to a certain extent, however you will not see me in a full on white dress when they’re 6 inches of snow outside. I do however go against a roll of denim on denim because I feel like if you do it right you could have a bomb outfit if Britney and Justin could do it so can I I’m joking.
Fashion offers no greater challenge than finding what works for night without looking like you are wearing a costume.
I guess you can say that my style switches, based on my mood, the event, and just the time of the year.
A great way to find your style is to play around with your clothes. Buy things that you thought you would never buy. You could also create a Pinterest board.
You can also take note about a few things about yourself:
What colors do you tend to wear most?
What colors look good on you?
How would you describe yourself.
What’s you go to outfit? (and do you want to change that).
This is just to list a few. I would say do your research and search around to see what you really like.
