HOW TO DRESS FOR THE WINTER

Prep clothes are sensible: rain clothes keep you dry; winter clothes keep you warm; collars are buttoned down so they don’t flap in your face when you’re playing polo. Layering is a natural response to varying weather conditions. – Author: Lisa Birnbach

It’s a cold one Mr. Grinch

The weather outside is getting colder. We still have to bundle up, despite it not being as cold as we are used to. So I am here to show you a couple ways that you can still look cute and stay warm at the same time. I love fashion and it shouldn’t be curtailed in the winter. Due to my birthdate, I have always favored wearing winter clothing. Here are some ways to dress for winter without much further ado.

Its all about layering

When I layer, I like to wear lightweight pieces that won’t overheat me. As for the color black, I often wear it during the winter. During the holidays, I put on a bit more weight, so I tend to wear more black because it’s a slimming color.

Shoes of choice

Open Spaces

I have loved heels since I was a child. I used to play in my mom’s closet because she owned hundreds of them. I put on a pair of booties with my two-piece sweatpants set. I also had a beanie and sunnies.

Clothes as text, clothes as narration, clothes as a story. Clothes as the story of our lives. And if you were to gather all the clothes you have ever owned in all your life, each baby shoe and winter coat and wedding dress, you would have your autobiography. – Author: Linda Grant

Accessories

I carried a black leather Backpack and black scarves.
