In it, Peter Billingsley plays Ralphie Parker and Darren McGavin plays his father with delightful results. Which is impossible not to fall in love with these characters after watching this movie!

The film was released in November 1983 during the Thanksgiving weekend. Alongside other classics like National Lampoon’s Vacation and Risky Business. But it would go on to become one of the most popular holiday movies ever made. Thanks to its heartwarming tale and timeless message about family traditions.
