My story
I started this blog
because I needed it
and it didn’t exist.
From a young age I had a passion for storytelling and uplifting others. I know how lonely and overwhelming life can feel when you’re trying to figure it all out — especially in your 20s, when everyone expects you to have it together and nobody really talks about how hard it actually is.
So I built the space I wish I had. Joi’s Journey of Perception is where I combine my love for writing, fashion, wellness, and life advice to help women step into their best selves. No filter, no pretending. Just real talk from someone who’s been in the trenches and came out glowing.
